Model Development

Leveraging our wealth of experience, our team of experts is well-equipped to assist you in designing a tailored model that aligns with your final objectives, timelines, and cost constraints.

Our preclinical and clinical teams work closely together to generate more predictive and translational models. They design specialized tools to evaluate efficacy and outcomes for proof of concept projects in the early stages, as well as for addressing safety concerns in the later stages of development.

Acknowledged for our flexibility and scientific expertise, we develop innovative experimental approaches.

Appropriate preclinical model

The choice of the appropriate preclinical model and adequate experimental design is a determining factor for the success of development projects. If the perfect model for your project is not available, contact us and let’s discuss together your needs.

You will be supported by our pharmacology team composed of highly experienced scientists (surgery, behavioral specialists, animal welfare, etc.) and the support of cutting-edge tech platforms (histology, imaging tools, flow cytometry).

Our close proximity, both geographically and collaboratively, to Rennes 1 University and Pontchaillou University Hospital, represents a unique advantage in enhancing our expertise across a broad range of therapeutic areas.

Oncotrial

Created in 2015, the Oncotrial laboratory is the result of the collaboration between Biotrial and researchers from the University of Rennes 1.

Oncotrial’s core business is to develop and exploit preclinical cellular and animal models in oncology. The projects, set up and monitored by a Scientific Council bringing together academic and private researchers, are implemented thanks to the material and human resources provided by this unique structure.

Oncotrial has thus developed strong expertise in various murine models of tumors (lung, breast, ovary, prostate, etc.) in particular through an orthotopic approach (implantation of tumors within the organ of origin) and by developing tools for monitoring the growth and dissemination of tumors (e.g. MRI, Bioluminescence).
